Steve’s special interest in lighting brought his career path into “focus”. Prior to joining the team at SSI, Steve worked 5 years in the film and television industry as a grip in Chicago; rigging, cutting, and diffusing light. Having transitioned into a lighting programmer/systems integrator, Steve added a new set of skills to his engineer’s toolkit. Special interests include juggling, virtual reality/flight simulation, and 3D modeling.
